Prineville man dies trying to help disabled friend on Lake Billy Chinook

A Prineville man died Monday evening at Lake Billy Chinook after trying to retrieve a drifting boat carrying his disabled friend, according to a statement from Jefferson County Sheriff Jason Pollock.
