Prineville, Ore. – Meadow Lakes Golf Course is once again teeing up summer fun for young golfers with its annual Junior Golf Camp, taking place June 24th through June 26th. The three-day program is open to children and teens ages 6 to 17, and offers a supportive, skills-focused environment for golfers of all experience levels.
Participants will attend one session per day, choosing from three available time slots:
- 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
- 10:15 – 11:15 a.m.
- 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.
All three days must be scheduled in the same time slot to ensure consistency and group placement.
The camp’s curriculum includes instruction in golf etiquette and rules, short game techniques, full swing fundamentals, and interactive group activities designed to keep kids engaged and having fun. Juniors will be grouped by age and skill level to help maximize learning and enjoyment.
The cost is $60 per child for all three days, with discounts available for families enrolling multiple children. Golf clubs will be provided free of charge for participants who don’t have their own.
Assistant Golf Professional Cameron Morris, who is organizing the program, previously spoke with the Prineville Review in March about their adult and junior lesson programs. “It’s a great way to introduce kids to the game or help them build on existing skills,” Morris said. “We keep the atmosphere positive and hands-on, and it fills up fast every year.”
