Prineville, Ore. – Prineville’s pool season is coming to a close this weekend, with Crook County Parks and Recreation District (CCPRD) hosting its final events before the facility shuts down for the year.
On Friday, August 29th, the district will hold its End of Season Luau from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. with open swim and free ice cream included with admission ($5 per person or $12 per family).
That evening, the last Dive-In Movie of the summer will feature The Little Mermaid. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $5 per person or $12 per family. Organizers remind attendees that children must be accompanied by a responsible person over age 12, and outside food or floaties are not permitted.
CCPRD Executive Director Steve Waring thanked the community for its support of the pool programs. “Sunday, September 1, is the last day the pool will be open for the season. We appreciate all of the pool support we have received from the community this year. We hope you have enjoyed the Dive In Movie Series and hope to see everyone out at the pool tomorrow for our End of Season Luau and Dive In Movie,” Waring said.
